Does your cat seem upset or anxious? Do its body signals seem negative or is it practicing inappropriate bathroom habits?
What is annoying your cat might just as well be something that annoys you as well. There is dirt in a bathroom, spoiled food, overly loud music, cat peeves with cats and humans are more numerous than you might imagine. And you might think it, but you may be a wrongdoer as an owner, and these are the best things cats are not fond of. Never mind–we will be on your side–here are the ways to make them good.
1.Cats Hate Feeling Lonely
Cat is not an animal that lives alone as many people believe! Yes, it is a fact that you can leave your cat alone and spend more time with it than you could with a dog, but kitties demand attention, companionship and love as much as any other furry companion- or human. It may get anxious and even develop depression in case it is left unattended over a long period of time.
In case you have a very busy schedule, you should make it a point to allocate a few minutes a day to spend a little time with your cat. It will be happy and healthy even with 15 minutes of play time every few hours. An even better solution? And maybe consider getting another cat, so that it can have a full-time playmate. Otherwise, learn to live with them walking with you to the bathroom.
2.Cats Hate Dirty Litter Boxes
It is quite nasty to use an unsanitary toilet, whether in a bathroom or a house. Cats do not like dirty litter boxes, either.
You should clean your cat litter boxes daily, or rather every second day, but this is based on the number of cats one has and their bathroom routine. Don’t want to scoop poop daily? Think of spending on a litter box that cleans itself.
It is not only about scooping in order to keep a litter box clean. Litter must be changed after every two weeks or so, depending on what kind of litter you have chosen, how many times you scoop it up, and how many cats are in the house.
3.Cats Hate Spoiled Food
you are not likely to take a large platter of wasted food,–and lo! neither is your cat. Raw or spoiled food does not only taste bad, but it also can cause your cat to get sick as well.2 Bacteria, like Salmonella and Staphylococcus, have a opportunity to develop in food that was left uncovered too long, especially during the hot months.
You should also have a look at the expiration dates of the wet and dry food whenever preparing meals to your kitty. When you end up putting away tons of food that your cat leaves behind at the end of its dinners, you might have to evaluate the extent to which it is actually required to be consuming. The choice will depend on his breed, age and activity and your veterinarian can assist in making the decision.
4.Cats Hate Yucky Medicine
The last thing you want to experience when you are feeling lousy is to take down some nasty tasting medicine. And so is it also with your cat. Most cats foam at the mouth when they are on medication, or simply spit it out.
Be it that your cat is having a cold or infection, or that it has a chronic condition that it needs medicine on a regular basis, it is important to make the process a little easier on kitty.
The first thing to do is to teach your cat to accept having its face and mouth touched; you can relate these events to something good by giving it a little treat. Next, create a medication program, such that it understands what to anticipate and at what time.
In case you are still experiencing problem when it comes to the administration of the pills, there are numerous soft treats with pockets that are intended to hold the pills.
5.Cats Dislike Being Overly Aggressive Petted
You are so used to having a cat, you see it has only a few places it will be pleased to be petted, and, should you pet the wrong place, you will be hissed and scratched, or bitten. Cats are highly sensitive to any form of touching, hence care should be taken on where and how we are touching them.

Want to keep your cat happy? Cats lick one another on the head and neck–and most unpopular of all pets stretched along the entire length of its body–and will only tamper with the places about its head and neck. Watch keenly its behavior and body language to know what is acceptable and unacceptable petting.
6.Cats do not like other cats competing with them
Cat fights may occur as to the food, space, toys, or attention to the humans. Regrettably, in other instances such jealousy or protection of resources may result into aggression and in certain circumstances, misplaced aggression.3
Via example: When a house cat is intimidated by an outdoor cat, and is unable to attack it the house cat may instead transfer his aggression to another cat in the house.
7.Cats Hate Loud Noises
Thunderstrokes to a quarrel to fireworks, an abundance of noisy things and noise can be a serious source of stress to your cat. And stressful situations, which may be chronic because of the loud noises, can lead to some behavioral and health problems, such as skittishness, aggression, or depression, and hair loss, loss of appetite, and over-grooming.4
It may not be easy, but attempt to reduce the exposure of your cat to high-quality sound. Store it in a place where there are no guests or when the weather is terrible and do not play very loud music or turn the TV on to the maximum volume.
